Why cottage ceramic?
The little cottage in my logo is inspired by my aunt's house—a place where I absolutely love spending time. It's a unique home, full of creativity, with a large fireplace that gives it a wonderfully cosy, rustic atmosphere.
And of course, there's Simone, the most spoiled beagle in the world.
But back to the story.
This house is where many of my ideas were born, and it continues to inspire me today. It's in a place like this that I hope to live when I settle in England: a small, warm, rustic home where everything around me has been made or restored by my own hands.
I dream of renovating an old house, restoring furniture, making all of my own tableware, creating decorative pieces, and growing a vegetable garden—with my cat, Mirabelle, by my side.
Whenever I create a piece in my studio, I imagine it in its future home, helping to make everyday moments feel a little softer and more meaningful.
Using handmade objects every day gives them a sentimental value that goes far beyond the coldness of mass-produced items.
I hope this gives you a glimpse into the world where Cottage Ceramic was born and the place that continues to inspire everything I create.
